‘dancing in the rain’ by Hitlist

The Aberdonian four-piece, Hitlist, is proving to be one of the upcoming Scottish bands to watch. Formed in 2021, they already have an interesting curriculum of gigs under their belt as a supporting act for the likes of The Snuts, The Sherlocks, and more recently, Skylights at the iconic venue King Tut’s.

Their upcoming single, “Dancing In The Rain,” set to release on Nov 24th, is a compelling tune that can catch you unawares. It starts with slow, stripped-down, haunting, raspy vocals accompanied by a great use of the drums’ high-tops to set the beat. The song slowly picks up the pace, building up to a crashing chorus while adding more musical elements as the passionate and powerful vocals unfold, delivering the soulful lyrics…
